Production of poly aluminum chloride

When a chemical reaction occurs between alumina hydrate powder and hydrochloric acid at a certain temperature and pressure, poly aluminum chloride is produced. A certain amount of HCI, which has a concentration of 30-32%, is mixed with a certain amount of aluminum hydroxide using a stirrer. The output flow from the chamber enters the reactor, the reaction takes place inside the reactor with temperature and pressure.

Then the reaction is completed and these products are sent to the dilution chamber. Al(OH)3, which did not participate in the reaction, is separated from the product by filtration.

This filtered product is sent into the formulation tank. Inside this tank, chemicals and water are added to the product and then they are mixed by a mixer.

One of the most corrosive chemical production processes is the poly aluminum chloride production process, which is why the main reaction of this process takes place inside a glass reactor. The operating conditions of pack production are at high temperature and pressure. The chemical reaction of Al(OH)3 and hydrochloric acid is as follows:

Al(OH)3(s) + HCl (l) → Alm(OH)mCl3n-m
